The Freycinet Retreat is a private hideaway situated by Mt. Paul, with un-matched views over the East Coast. Simple twin-share rooms, comfortable beds, rustic feels on a private patch of forest... perfect. With warm showers, fire pits & a library, you will sleep following each day of walking. 'The Barn' has been stunningly converted into our kitchen and dining room.

One of the oldest National Parks in the world, the Freycinet Peninsula consists of rich coastal diversity, azure bays and white sand beaches. The dramatic peaks of the Hazard Mountain range welcome you as you enter the park. The peninsula is effectively two eroded blocks of granite, the Hazards and Mount Freycinet/Graham ranges. Throw in endemic wildlife and flora and you get a very special place.

 Blessed with incomparable

walking  trails, the Freycinet peninsula is home to pure white beaches, pink  granite mountains, coastal  wetlands and eucalyptus forests. Over the three days we walk three unique Freycinet walks.             A scenic boat transfer from the southern tip of Freycinet peninsula, we explore the best Tasmanian walks and the  famous Wineglass Bay track.

On departing Hobart we stop a few times to pick up cheese, wine, seafood and other Tasmanian produce to prepare fresh. Each night we sit down for three course meals and have a yarn over Tasmanian wine or craft beer. Cooked breakfast and a variety of lunches will ensure you don't go hungry.

Of course, all produce is as local as possible with A French history inspired twist

Connect yourself with the natural world, experience fresh Tasmanian produce and relax back to your own private retreat. This unique Tasmanian experience lets you leave everything behind. A chance to turn your phone off, be out of touch with the world and live simply comfortable for three days. The Freycinet National Park boasts subtle yet dramatic beauty and ancient history spanning millions of years.

From breathtaking waterways to the iconic Freycinet mountain ranges, it has become the perfect place for rejuvenation. Each night rest your head on comfortable beds, refresh with hot showers and explore your private forest home. Our guides will enrich your stay with their genuine, local approach and love for the region. Tasmania is blessed with some of the world best food, you won't go hungry with three fresh meals each day and of course matched with local wines. The perfect long weekend.
