Why Book/Choose a See Tasmania Day Hiking Tour
Go Beyond The Tourist Trail!
Some of Tasmania's most amazing scenery is beyond the main tourist route and not found in guide books.
With 19 National Parks and 800 'other' reserves, there is almost too many places to explore! Sure we visit the highlights: Cradle Mt, Wineglass Bay, Bruny Island, but our guides favourite trails are found at Hartz Mountains, The Tarn Shelf and kunanyi/Mt Wellington. Probably the most underrated National Park in Tasmania is Maria Island - Our first tour was dedicated to sharing this amazing place! Although it's now gaining momentum, Maria is still one of the states least visited National Parks. Join a tour and learn why our guides believe it's the most fascinating national park in Australia! Come with us and explore the local favorites and see the real Tasmania!
Low Impact - Sustainably Conciouse
Being a small travel company we are easily able to minimise our impact on the fragile places we visit and our planet. The majority of our food for our picnic lunches comes from within Tasmania and is sourced at a local independent grocer with a focus on seasonal produce. Keeping our groups small ensures our physical and social impact is minimised in each National Park. We follow the Leave No Trace Principle, the world standard for low im pact activities in nature. This includes: Keeping to the track, not disturbing flora or fauna, pack it in, pack it out, disposing of waste correctly and respecting hosts and others on the track. '
